Built for finance data

In every plan.

Kipper was designed from the ground up to handle sensitive financial data — read-only by architecture, logged by default, and fast enough to replace the "quick question" Slack message to your accountant.

Strictly Read-Only

It is impossible for anyone to modify your accounting data through Kipper. We never write back to your finance system.

Full Audit Trail

Every conversation and query is logged and visible in the admin web app. Know exactly who asked what, and when.

Real-Time Data

QuickBooks and Xero data refreshes in real time via webhooks. NetSuite refreshes every five minutes. Always current, always accurate.

Real SQL, Not RAG

Questions are answered by generating SQL against your cached data — not by guessing from documents. No hallucination risk on data retrieval.

Unlimited Connections

Connect Kipper to as many Slack workspaces, Teams tenants, or AI tools as your organization needs. No cap on integrations.

FAQ

Billing, trials, and how pricing scales

Common questions about pricing, billing, and trials.

Kipper doesn't charge for provisioned seats — you only pay for active users: people who ask Kipper at least one billable finance question in a calendar month. Each plan includes a flat number of active users at its base price, one finance system connection, and one permission set; additional active users beyond that are billed at the per-user rate listed on each plan. Need to connect multiple finance systems — like several QuickBooks or Xero organizations — or configure different permission sets for different teams? Those are available as part of an Enterprise plan. Contact Sales and we'll put together the right setup for your organization.
An active user is anyone who asks Kipper at least one billable finance question in a calendar month. Support questions and questions Kipper can't answer are free and don't count — so a person who never gets a real answer costs nothing, and a person who never asks anything at all costs nothing. Provision as many people as you like; you're only billed for the ones who actually use Kipper that month.
Only finance questions that return an answer are billed. Support questions, how-to questions, billing questions, and questions that don't produce an answer are all free.
Every plan starts with 2,000 included questions per month, plus 50 questions for each additional active user beyond the plan's included count. For example, a plan with 5 additional active users gives you 2,000 + (5 × 50) = 2,250 questions per month. These are pooled across your account, and you're only charged for overages above that total.
Start with a free 14-day trial, then self-serve plans are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. Billing cycles run on the calendar month, based on UTC time, and plans that start mid-month are billed pro-rata for that first partial month. You can cancel anytime, but cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — not immediately — so you're billed in full for the month you cancel in and retain access through its last day. Enterprise plans are annual commitments — contact Sales for details.
Yes. Every account starts with a free 14-day trial that includes 100 questions — enough to fully evaluate Kipper with your real data. No credit card required to start. Convert to a paid plan whenever you're ready, or let the trial expire with no charge.
A Permission Set defines what your users can see. For example, you might want users to see invoice data but not your bank balance. Self-serve plans include a single Permission Set, meaning everyone sees the same data. Enterprise plans support multiple Permission Sets, so different teams or roles can have different levels of access — the C-Suite might be able to ask about everything, while the sales team only sees invoices.
